Hello Friends,

Hold on to your potatoes because it’s Friday and this is what I found for you this week.

#1 – Garbage Men of the Congo

Photographer Stephan Gladieu captures something wild, regal and strangely beautiful in these men in the DRC dressed head to toe in trash, using the African tradition of mask making to highlight the growing issue of foreign garbage.

#2 – Bookmark

I love this unique idea for a bookmark. It’s a meter tall slab of marble and yeah it looks very functional, not the best for reading on the bus though.

#3 – Macarena Luzi

Illustrator Macarena Luzi is my new artist crush. She does bold and messy vector illustrations with loads of personality. Somewhere between Bauhaus and a kids book. Plus her name is Macarena.

#4 – Loops

This compilation of motion loops by Tomasz Woźniakowski is a little bit mad, a little bit disturbing, but undeniably gorgeous.

#5 – Woodkid - Iron

This has got to be one of my all time favourite music clips. Visually stunning, so cinematic, and just oozing cool. I cant believe it’s already 14 years old.
