JB's Friday 5
06062025
 Hello Friends,
Made it back this week too? Nice! It’s Friday, I’m still unemployed, and this is what I have found for you this week.
#1 – Church
This week I stumbled across the rebranding for a church. Yes I thought the same thing but it turns out it’s good. It’s real simple but I love the custom black letter font.
#2 – Jimmy Boden
what are these snacks? who are these people? This short film has a killer punchline and made me laugh. Just really nicely executed and I can see the hilarious thought process.
#3 – World’s Smallest Violin
It’s small. How small you ask? Well it can fit inside a human hair. I would like to see someone play it please.
#4 – Artificial Blood
You might be fooled to think that with the worlds population as large as it is that we would have a bountiful supply of blood to save lives, but human blood has a short shelf life and can only really last about 2 weeks. Hence the continual need for blood donors. But the future is bright, a team out of Japan have developed an artificial blood that can be stored for up to two years. But still go donate blood if you can.
#5 – Luca Grassi
Illustrator Luca Grassi has this beautiful style that feels nostalgic and dreamlike. reminds me of vintage travel illustrations. He’s super talented so go check out his instagram too.
O.K.
That’s it.
