Hello Friends,

It’s Friday and I’m back! After a few weeks off, I am now not only unemployed, but sleep deprived and a new father of a gorgeous little girl too. And yes I am available for work from about the 25th of August ,thanks for asking.

#1 – Didi

Yes I have been out of the game for like a month, but the good stuff still finds its way to me. This chaotic fever dream ad for Didi is impeccable. It is weird, done wonderful and in no way half arsed, which is the only way to do it. The soundtrack, the casting… everything is so memorable.

#2 – How To Have a Great Summer

I know it is still winter, but it’s never too early to prepare for the coming summer and to make it a good one. This is a great video that gives you a really wholesome step by step guide to making your summer a good one.

#3 – Scammagedon

The newest work for Telstra from Bear meets eagle on fire and +61, has me believing again. Staring Steve Buscemi in space, this is one of those ads my mum will ask if I have seen. I love the art direction in it too, so many little bits and pieces stolen from all sorts of places combined to create really fun ads.

#4 – Petit Bonhomme de Chemin

Check out this gorgeous 1 min animated film “little man on the road” by Lucas Partiseti.

#5 – I Hate Running Run Club

I like to run, but I also hate it. Just like anyone who calls themselves a runner, there is a love hate relationship with running. So with all my time off I have made some merch that you can actually buy to reflect this dichotomy of running. It’s perfect for your next begrudging trot around the park, picking up at the 5am run club, or just standing around with a croissant looking like you have earnt it. Plus all profits go to me, so please buy three.
