Thanks for joining. It’s Friday and this is what I found for you this week

#1 – Brushstrokes

How Fabian Oefner captures these incredible brushstrokes floating in resin is a mystery to me, but one thing is for sure, they are beautiful. Also you have to remember that these are physical objects not 3d renders.

#2 – Turntable - No Arms

I love a vinyl record. It’s the ritual of it. and yes it is an old technology, but there are still innovations being made. Check out this digital/analogue turntable from waiting for ideas.

#3 – Samurai Pizza Cats

If you are old enough to know about the Samurai Pizza Cats then you will enjoy this little hit of nostalgia. It has one of the catchiest theme songs ever, and it is getting a brand new game.

#4 – Peugeot Design Labs 504

When you let a team of designers loose without any boundaries they can come up with some pretty wild stuff and that is exactly what happened at the Peugeot Design Lab. This bubble gum pink hill climb spec 504 concept car is outrageous and very cool.

#5 – The Uncomfortable

Yes they technically work when you first look at them, but something is off. The Uncomfortable is a collection of deliberately inconvenient everyday objects by Athens-based architect Katerina Kamprani. My favourites are the thicc cutlery and the wide teapot. Thanks Sunil for the find.
