Hello Friends,

It’s Friday again and this is what I found for you this week.

#1 – Mongolia

It feels like only yesterday when we last had the olympic games, such is time. I love the Olympics, and I am particularly fond of the spectacular uniforms of the Mongolian team. I can’t wait to see them in the opening ceremony.

#2 – The Colour Of The Sky

Have you ever tried to describe the colour of the sky? Like when it’s such a deep blue that photos don’t do it justice. well back in 1789 they had a similar issue which they solved with this novel idea called a Cyanometer.

#3 – Movie Props

Do you like movies? Have you ever wanted to own something like the actual Indiana jones hat or mace Windu’s lightsabre? So this one is a bit more time sensitive but too cool not to share: A huge prop house auction is giving you the opportunity be a lucky owner of some of the most culturally significant movie pieces ever conceived.

#4 – Go Wild Festival Logo

Every now and then I come across a logo that stops me in my tracks and makes me say “oh yeah, that is a good logo”. The highest of praises. This is one of those logos.

#5 – Ginger Root - "Loretta"

I am really digging this clip from Ginger Root for his song Loretta. His sound and aesthetic is so nostalgic and so well done.
