Hello Friends,

Kick your feet up and grab a cuppa, it’s Friday again and this is what I found this week.

#1 – Exploring The World Through Sound

Stop what you are doing right now and just listen to the world around you. Now I know you didn’t actually do it, and i think you should reconsider, because there is a world full of amazing sounds all around us all the time. That is exactly what Field Recorder @freetousesounds does, he captures these hidden sounds that fill our world and some of them are actually amazing. The sound of a beehive for example, or the creaking of a bridge. Obviously you should turn your sound on for this, and headphones work best.

#2 – Tri Le

Tri Le is an illustrator who uses techniques usually reserved for engraving. You see him working and all I can think is how steady his hands must be. Unbelievably impressive talent and very worth while checking out.

#3 – The Secret Of Light Spray

Okay Technology, it’s time to settle down a little bit because you are getting out of control. The next generation of elite running shoes will be sprayed on, kind of like in cloudy with a chance of meatballs, but actually real and you can take them off.

#4 – Panda Bear and Sonic Boom - “Go On”

This is an awesome music video with some fantastic animation that follows a pinball, kinda like that sesame street bit that taught us all to count to 12.

#5 – Roof Tile

Have you ever even thought about roof tiles? I certainly had not until I came across this somewhat over engineered version and thought to myself: Damn, this is a cool roof tile.
