JB's Friday 5
05042024
Hello Friends,
Just when you thought it was dead, Friday has risen and is back once again after a nice little week off.
#1 – Fish Doorbell
Do you see a fish? Press the Doorbell! Every spring fish migrate upstream, in search of places to spawn. They swim through the centre of the city of Utrecht. Unfortunately, the boat lock is closed during spring. You can help the fish. this is a live camera feed and you can ring the doorbell and open the door for any fish waiting to get through.
#2 – Pelle Cass
Pelle Cass has a very unique take on time lapse photography. he creates these chaotic scenes featuring hundreds of things all happening at the same time. There is so much energy in his images, and every time you take a look you can discover something else.
#3 – Yoshitoshi Kanemaki
Sculptures that break my brain. That is what artist Yoshitoshi Kanemaki does best.
#4 – Brutalist Toilet.
I don’t think I have ever said this before but damn, that is a nice toilet. Designed by Samuel Ross, this toilet is something else.
#5 – Frozen Bubbles
Photographer Jan Erik Waider proves once again the beauty of nature. in this series, he captures bubbles frozen in ice, not what you would immediately think of as beautiful. but they really captured my attention.
O.K.
That’s it.
