It’s Friday? Again?

#1 – The Literacy Pen

773 million individuals worldwide grapple with illiteracy. That number is staggering, but working with the world literacy foundation they created this simple, cheap open source solution that can help teach you how to read and write. All you have to do is clip it to any pen or pencil, and speak the word that you want, and it spells it out one letter by letter for you to follow along. Simple.

#2 – Toaster Typewriter

Why does this invention exist?? I don’t have the answer to that, but I sure am glad it does.

#3 – Coffin Art

When you think of artists working in unique mediums, I would say it’s a safe bet that you wouldn’t pick coffin as one of them. I love these.

#4 – Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared

Don’t hug me I’m scared is unique. If you haven’t had the pleasure then strap yourself in for a seemingly innocent kids show that twists itself into something much more uneasy and terrifying, but in a very funny way. And remember that green is not a creative colour.

#5 – This Filnn Is Going To Be About A Sauna…………..

Slow down, relax, and enjoy this film about a sauna. This is a delightful doco about a community coming together for the greater good, plus it’s a great piece of film making too. It has also inspired me to build a sauna of my own. I love a sauna.
