JB’s Friday 5

Hello Friends,

It’s Friday, I’m not at work, and the sun is out (at least where I am) and this is what I found for you this week.

#1 – Tiny Paper Houses

Mylyn eat zombie is one talented lady. She makes these insanely detailed tiny little buildings out of paper and it is really something that you need to see to understand just why i am so pumped about them. And if you are a Sydney local you might even recognise a few of the buildings that she recreates.

#2 – Corporate Xmas Cards

With Christmas just around the corner it’s time to start thinking about the type of cards you want to send out. If you happen to exist in the corporate world these are the perfect cards for you.

#3 – Maps

I bloody love a good map. Not the digital google maps kind, give it too me on paper, something tactile. And if you can’t give me that then make sure it’s super old and cool. Now Oculi Mundi might not be a physical map archive, but it is old and cool, and that is super in my books.

#4 – Needs More Boom

have you ever watched a movie and thought “gosh this is dull, i wish it had more explosions and robots like a Michael Bay film”? Well do i have an oddly specific website for you! This labour of love from creative Jess Wheeler - Needs more boom, will take any of your favourite film scenes and re write them so they are more Michael Bay-sequel.

#5 – Work Work Work

This ad for a Thai recruiting platform is surprisingly relatable but also fucking loopy and i love it.
