Hello Friends,

There is nothing like cool, refreshing links after a big, hard week.

#1 – Happy to Chat

To combat loneliness in Poland, they have set up “Happy to chat” benches. And it is just that, if you don’t mind having a yarn you can let others know by sitting down and talk to someone new. Brilliantly simple idea to combat our over connected, yet disconnected lives.

This little short does such a good job at recreating those moments that you just want to curl up and hide.

#3 – Orbital Reflector

What if you need it to be day time, but it is night time? This is a question that people who own and run solar farms ask all the time, there is a whole part of the day (night) that they can’t make any power. Well lucky for this small group of people, there is an ambitious group of engineers who want to put giant mirrors into space so they can reflect the day time sun to places that are night time with the tap of a phone. All I can think about is the pranks you would pull.

#4 – Olympic design

Designing an Olympic games is not an easy job. Years of work under scrutiny by the entire world. But when you pull it off, you leave your mark and become part of history.

What this guy can do with a cardboard is insane.
